About Masters Join us for the 2025 International Masters of Medicine Conference and Trailblazer Award, hosted by the Heart Institute of the Caribbean (HIC) and Yale University’s Cardiovascular Medicine. The Masters of Medicine Conference is an annual event that provides intimate opportunities for Clinicians and healthcare professionals to interact with some of the world’s most talented Medical Researchers and Opinion Leaders. The sessions are unique for high impact learning and exchange of ideas over a 2 day period. This year’s event will be held at the Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, on January 18-19, 2025. We invite you to kick off the conference with a Welcome Reception on January 17, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The main sessions will begin on January 18 at 7:00 a.m. and run until 6:00 p.m., followed by a prestigious Award Gala at 8:00 p.m. The conference will resume on January 19 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This year’s theme, “Her Heart Matters,” explores the crucial relationship between menopause and women’s heart health, highlighting the importance of awareness and preventative strategies. The sessions will aim to increase the understanding of heart disease in women and developing expertise in evaluating the relationship between menopause and heart disease. The conference will also provide attendees with the tools to Increase the understanding of identification of patients at risk for cardiomyopathy in the Caribbean including amyloid cardiomyopathy and develop expertise in evaluating and implementing treatment options for cardiovascular diseases in low- and middle-income countries. We aim to empower caregivers and the broader community by promoting heart-centered self-care, fostering connections, and bridging theory with practice, all to create lasting impacts in the communities we serve.
